It was an afternoon of informality and arts-savvy at Old World Charm as girls let down their hair and guys loosened their ties to come together to trade tips on photography.
Old World Charm is a photography-appreciation learning event that taught us how to look for picturesque moments in everyday objects and buildings. By focusing on different shapes, colours, lighting conditions, the surroundings, the way the human eye adjusts to interpret pictures etc., we can tell a story through the photos that we take.
Despite the on-pour of rain, the participants were willing to brave the wet conditions to capture the essence of the old world in the city hall district. Here are some of their takings:
